I’m a beach volleyball athlete who has been suffering from lower back injury for years and just managed to get back on the court recently. The recovery journey has been so tough, but the mindfulness sessions led by Jessie has comforted my pain a lot. Through listening to my soul, from scanning my body sensations to focusing on my breath to disconnect from my fixed mindset while reconnecting to my presence, and what I could and should do to move on. Big thanks to the patience and wisdom given by my beloved Jessie, which meant I could eventually step out of the darkness.

It was the third 8-week course I joined, and I continue to be inspired by the experience. The MBCT-L course was exceptionally experiential, providing a wealth of in-class practices centered around various themes and focuses. These exercises have deepened my sense of gratitude and resilience in ways I hadn't anticipated.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the half-day retreat; it truly turned out to be one of the best days of the year for me! <3

Clare

Participating in the "Mindfulness for Life" course with Jessie was a meaningful journey. Her kindness and acceptance created a welcoming space for self-reflection. Through her guidance, I learned to better connect with my present experiences. Techniques like the 50-50 Practice and 3-step Breathing Space became valuable tools for grounding myself. Jessie's compassionate facilitation not only introduced me to mindfulness skills but also nurtured a deeper appreciation for the present moment. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in this course.
