Description

Staff Development Workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. Schools may also arrange a full-day experience (5-6 hours) based on their needs. The workshop introduces what mindfulness is, its benefits, and allows participants to experience various types of mindfulness practices. Additionally, it provides insights on how mindfulness can be integrated into teaching.

Workshop Overview

Staff Development Workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. Schools may also arrange a full-day experience (5-6 hours) based on their needs. The workshop introduces what mindfulness is, its benefits, and allows participants to experience various types of mindfulness practices. Additionally, it provides insights on how mindfulness can be integrated into teaching.


The workshop includes simple mindfulness theory, experiential mindfulness practices, practical applications in daily life, and group discussions.


Workshop Content 

  • Introduction to Mindfulness: A brief overview of what mindfulness is 

  • Effectiveness of Mindfulness: Sharing recent research to explain the benefits of mindfulness 

  • Mindfulness Practices: Participants will be invited to engage in several mindfulness practices, experiencing a taste of mindfulness. They will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues and ask questions

  • Mindfulness Resources: Providing resources for teachers to integrate mindfulness into their teaching and work, helping both themselves and their students manage stress or emotional difficulties through mindfulness.


Arrangement

There is no limit on the number of participants. The duration can be tailored to your group's needs, and the workshop can be conducted at the school or a designated location.


Cultivating a mindful school culture, having a fresh perspective on your own daily life experiences, thoughts and emotions, and bringing greater awareness and stability to staff members in their work.
